Our Fast Track Operations Management Internships are designed to expand the intern’s leadership skills. This is accomplished by providing hands-on experience and the opportunity to influence the undergraduate interns throughout the summer.
In addition to the leadership role the graduate interns experience, you will be partnered with one of Steak n Shake’s senior leaders to work on a corporate project. Past project topics have included Associate retention analysis, establishing a franchise finance program, local store marketing, financial reporting procedures and real estate site selection.
During the last part of your internship you will help lead the Undergraduate Corporate Internship Conference in Indianapolis. At this capstone event, you will have the opportunity to interact with senior management and lead developmental workshops for the undergraduate interns. At the completion of the internship you will present your project to Senior Management team and university personnel.
Your entire experience will be supported by professional feedback, including an in-depth evaluation of your contributions over the course of the summer.
