Our management internships are designed to teach the basics of operational leadership by providing interns with hands-on experience. Daily duties will make use of the intern’s financial, marketing, computer, and human resource skills, as well as offer the intern the opportunity to develop their leadership abilities. All of our interns are partnered with Steak n Shake’s best people-developers to ensure their summer experience is meaningful.
During the last few weeks of your internship you will attend the Corporate Internship Conference in Indianapolis. During this time, you will have the opportunity to interact with senior management, attend developmental workshops and inform Steak n Shake leadership of the special project work you completed during the summer. Past project topics have included Associate retention analysis, local store marketing, financial reporting procedures, and real estate site selection.
Your entire experience will be supported by professional feedback including an in-depth evaluation of your contributions over the course of the summer. |
